Belvoir Federal recognizes and respects the privacy of its members and is committed to protecting information by observing applicable state and federal privacy laws in the transaction of all Belvoir Federal Credit Union business.

Belvoir Federal does not sell any member information to any list services, third parties or non-credit union agencies. We provide information to our affiliates and service organizations only as necessary to conduct credit union business (e.g. credit bureaus, card processors, mail houses, etc.) and only after obtaining confidentiality agreements from those vendors.

Our Commitment to Data Security
All BOB (Belvoir Online Banking) sessions are authenticated and encrypted. The authentication of an Online Banking session is handled through your account number and PIN combination, which is required at login. The PIN is the same that is used when conducting your BelTel transactions. You do have the ability to request a new PIN to access BOB (Belvoir Online Banking) and BelTel when you sign up for the BOB (Belvoir Online Banking) service. In addition, you have the ability to change your PIN in the User Options section of the BOB (Belvoir Online Banking) service (this will not change your BelTel PIN).

The encryption is accomplished by establishing a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection between the browser and the Web server. You can only access BOB (Belvoir Online Banking) with an SSL compliant browser.

We store no member information on our web server that may be accessed by the public. All account information is housed on computers that are behind our firewall (protected area). The web server only passes information between your browser and our computers located behind the firewall, and vice-versa.

Your personal information is only accessed by Belvoir Federal Staff responsible for completing your request and/or transaction. Subsequent Belvoir Federal Staff access to your personal information is done to complete another request or transaction that you authorized. Access to your personal information could be required of Belvoir Federal under applicable law.

COPPA Disclosure: Our online financial services are not designed for or directed toward children. We do not knowingly solicit or collect any data from children online. We recognize that protecting children's identities and online privacy is important and that responsibility rests with us and with parents.
